Since 2017, I have worked at a hospice offering bereavement counselling to family members and friends.
Alongside my counselling practice, I have worked for a charity for over 20 years, offering emotional support to family carers and facilitating support groups. I work with a wide range of people, including those caring for loved ones with dementia, physical health conditions, and terminal illnesses.
I have extensive experience supporting individuals throughout their caring journey, and for some, this continues into bereavement. It can often be challenging for carers to separate their own feelings from the experiences of the person they support, and this emotional strain can sometimes become internalised.
I have an enhanced DBS check and have been a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) since 2015. BACP is the leading professional association for members of the counselling professions in the UK and I can be found on their register.

I adhere to the BACP's Ethical Framework and work in accordance with their guidelines.
I have regular supervision with a highly experienced counselling supervisor to ensure that I am working safely and ethically with you.
I hold professional indemnity insurance and am registered with the ICO, the UK's independent body set up to uphold information rights.
