Since 2017, I have worked at a hospice offering bereavement counselling to family members and friends.
Alongside counselling, I have worked for a charity for 25 years; I provide emotional support to family carers on a one to one basis as well as facilitating support groups. I work with a multitude of people, including carers of family members with dementia, physical health conditions, often with terminal diagnoses. I am highly experienced in supporting clients throughout their caring journey and for some, this includes post bereavement. At times, it can be difficult for carers to
separate themselves from the personal trauma of the person they care for and this stress can often be internalised.
I have an enhanced DBS check and have been a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) since 2015. BACP is the leading professional association for members of the counselling professions in the UK and I can be found on their register.

I adhere to the BACP's Ethical Framework and work in accordance with their guidelines.
I have regular supervision with a highly experienced counselling supervisor to ensure that I am working safely and ethically with you.
I hold professional indemnity insurance and am registered with the ICO, the UK's independent body set up to uphold information rights.
